Far from home, close to each other
Taslia is from Aceh. Varian is from Bukittinggi, in the highlands of West Sumatra.
They were far from home when they found each other at Leibniz Universität in Hannover, Germany.
In a city of rain and old streets, a quiet crossing became a promise to return home together.
